A magical time on Shabbos that is filled with learning and fun.
Our Rebbe strongly emphasizes the importance for mechanchim to keep in touch with students even during the days off.
Students should always feel connected to Torah and Mitzvois. Every Shabbos afternoon OYYL students get together to hear a Chassidic story, say 12 pesukim, and say a brocha over some nosh. This informal gathering outside of the school context creates a very strong bond between the students. Students of different age groups have an opportunity to socialize and interact with each other. Children are encouraged to share their reflections of the past week and their Hashgocha Protis (the Divine Providence) stories.
